Mia's second week

This week has been both a little easier and a little harder. On Friday I got a horrible cold that is still going on now, although I'm in the final throes of it. All weekend I was sniffling and hacking away, inches from Mia, trying really hard not to infect her. She must have her Dad's immune system with as much snot as I was producing.

Finally, I succumbed to the lure of Nyquil, and took some to get a good night sleep. Unfortunately that night turned into half of the next day as well. The next night, I took half the dose, which seemes to work much much better.

Other than that, besides various visitors, its been a quiet week. Mia had her second pediatrician appointment today, where she peed a river all over the scale. She hates the scale as much as her Mommy does! Anyways, here are her weights so far:

On her birthday 5/7/08: 8 pounds, 15 oz.
On Day 2, 5/9/08: 8 pounds, 5 oz.
On Day 4, 5/11/08: 8 pounds, 2 oz.
On Day 6, 5/13/08: 8 pounds, 11 oz.

Today, Day 14, 5/21/08: 9 pounds, 15 oz!!!! She also grew a quarter inch in height.

I knew she had chubbed up a bit, but I had no idea how much! They grow so fast...
